Crew truck driver/Concrete laborer

Position
Pyramid Concrete & Consulting Ltd. has an immediate opening for an experienced staff member to operate and drive a one-ton crew truck with trailer while being a contributing member to the team as either a laborer or concrete finisher. The position will require the following:
• Be punctual to our west end shop for the morning meeting and to load the required equipment and materials for the day.
• Perform truck walk arounds and know how to successfully strap down and secure cargo/loads.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the truck, ensuring all standard and daily materials are in stock.
• Safely drive to and from job sites.
• Work with the rest of the crew including all different types of concrete construction (demolition, base prep, forming, placing and finishing).
Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
• A clean drivers abstract with a Class 5 driver’s license.
• Have experience working in concrete construction in any capacity.
• Possess good communication skills between management, foreman, and other staff.
• Have reliable transportation to get to and from our west-end office.
• Owns personal safety equipment such as steel-toe boots, safety vest, and hard hat.
• Possess a strong, reliable work ethic and is willing to learn.

This is a full-time position, consisting of 5-6 days a week, 8-12 hours per day.

Rate of Pay – $20.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on crew truck and concrete construction experience.
